Week 5

Fathers Day was this week. This is dedicated to all the Dads in my life.
A Fathers hand is there to hold, embrace, love, play, and dicipline. It's stong and loving and always there for his children. A child always looks to that outstretched hand for comfort and love. They always know it will be there for them. As that Fathers hand ages, it's role never changes, because then one day it holds it's grandchild. We love our Dad and Grandpa's and know that they have the kind of hands that love us. We are greatful for such wonderful Dad's in our lives. Thank you for all you do!

Week 4

I can't believe it's been 4 weeks already. Jayden had is 4 week check-up and here are the stats: 8 lbs 14 oz and 22 inches. He is growing like crazy. Although he is starting to lose his hair and it gives him the old man look. What fun it is. The other day we were all laying in bed watching Looney Tunes and it made me so happy to see our little family together. What a great blessing.

Week 3

Here are my 3 Boys! I love it. This week has been a long one. Jayden not only is still trying to figure out when nights and days are, but we had the town wood project, T-Ball, Bunco and some cold days and nights that brought snow and rain. Yes snow in June that's right. But every one is having fun and loving life. Jayden is starting to laugh in his sleep and coo's at the boys. It is lots of fun to see him grow. I think he's starting another growth spurt. He is going to be a big boy. Still long and skinny though. We love having family close, what a blessing it truly is.

2 Weeks

Well it's been 2 weeks and it's been wonderful. Jayden is getting bigger every day. He's started his first little growth spurt and eats non-stop. At least that is what it feels like. I got feeling cooped up and so we went to Zion on Memorial Day. What a blast. We took a really easy hike and went and saw the lower Emerald Pools. It was so much fun. We saw a turkey, coyote, squirrels and lots of lizards which my boys thought was so cool. Jayden was a sport and handled the trip so well. Which is a good thing because it's going to be a busy summer.

1 week

It has been just over a week and Jayden is getting so big. We have loved every minute of it. There definetly has been hard times and long nights. I think mostly because we aren't used to it and we are all trying to find a routine, but we love it. He is truly adorable. My boys are loving him. Today they took turns holding him and fighting over whos turn it is to feed him, throw his diaper away or get things for him. It's been fun.

Happy Birthday!

Well the day finally came. I was induced on May 17th. After a few struggles and a very long day we were blessed to have little Jayden come into our lives. We had such an amazing team help him come and we are truly greatful for them and their skills. Jayden was 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 21 1/4 inches long, making him my biggest and shortest. Don't let the scale fool ya, he is long and skinny for sure. We love him so much and Colton and William have taken him right in. They love to talk and sing to him. Colton sings songs that Big Pa taught him and Jayden loves to hear them. William enjoys talking and holding Jayden. He definetly has Pieper in him. He is a joy and I can't explain how wonderful he has been in our family. It has brought a new level of love and happiness into our home. I'm greatful that he made it here safe and healthy.

A sure sign spring has come is baseball...well in our case T-Ball. My little Colton is now 4 and loves to play. He cries every time someone else gets the ball, but he is getting better and better. Although the first couple of games were so windy and cold you wouldn't have thought it was spring...but then again we do live in Hatch and it snowed a couple days later. In fact it snowed about 3 times that week. We are loving that the weather is nicer, the boys are getting bigger and the little baby is getting closer to joining our little family. What blessings we truly do have. William really wishes he could play but he will have to wait 2 years before he can play. Little boys sure are fun!!!

It's spring time and all the snow is melted. So of course we had to hit the Sand Dunes. This time we had quite the crew. It ended up being a ton of fun. Colton and William went camping with their Big Pa (Grandpa). That was the coolest. They got to sleep under the stars. They would pretend to shoot the stars with guns and kept everyone up late. They are still talking about it over a week later. Unfortunalty our first outing, Big Pa's four wheeler had problems and Kolby's engine siezed, and I got sick. But all in all it was a great trip. Everyone is excited for another trip. I love that the snow is gone and we are in the 60's now. It is so nice to have spring here...even if it is a fleeting moment. We love it.

So on March 4th Scott and I had our 5th Wedding Anniversary. It was a lot of fun. We went to St. George with out the kids and got a motel room. We relaxed and hung out. We really didn't do much. Just some shopping. What a wonderful break. I sure do love him and it was great to just get away. Although the whole time we kept saying oh the kids would love to go here, or the kids would love this. I sure missed them. That was the longest I've been away from them and it was hard. But I think the boys loved being at Granny's. Thanks Mom and Dad for the help and here's to another 5 and more years.

Well it is official we are having yet another boy. We are really excited. What a great new years gift. The boys are really excited and they are trying to help pick out names which range from Spiderman to Scottgerald. I really don't know where they come up with what they say but it's great. They are getting excited to have a little brother come and live with us. We are on the count down now that we are more than half way and it's exciting. We all really can't wait to see this little guy.

This month we went to Montana to visit the family. We had a blast other than we froze to death. It was so cold. All the kids decorated Grandma Nancy's Christmas tree and then we opened presents. We ate lots of food, enjoyed eachothers company, and got to see Allyson blessed. It was great. The boys didn't want to leave they were having so much fun. They still talk about the trip. They will until we go next to. Grandma Nancy set quite the bar for Christmas parties. Colton thinks that whenever we go somewhere now we are going to a Christmas party and even when we put the tree up we were now having a party. He loved it. The old house you see is one of my favorites that we pass in Idaho. Everytime we pass it I think it is more run down. It is a beautiful home and it makes me sad that it is going to waste. We love you all so much and are greatful we were able to come and see you. What a blessing to have family that you love so much. Hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas!!
