A day of yard work

We had a long day of cleaning up dead trees and moving rocks. The boys of course loved riding in the skid steer with their Dad, but it was a long day that warranted a bubble bath at the end. They just have to make you smile now don't they. Hopefully next year we will have grass. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

If only it truly was this easy. They decided that they were hiding from bears. They were safe as long as they were in the fence. Then they would all jump out and hunt the bears. Of course the bears would chase them and they would just run back. It was quite funny.

Our Trip to City of Rocks!

What a trip. All 15 of us crammed into a motor home and made the trip to Almo, ID. That is where City of Rocks National Reserve is. Also there is City of Rocks right there close by. It was so much fun. It looked like someone had a hand full of rocks and then just threw them up in the air and where they landed they stayed. It was great. My boys loved climbing on the rocks and looking at the lizards, squirrels and owls. It was a lot of fun. I think that they liked being with Grandpa and Granny the most. But cousins may have tied. They all took turns standing behind Grandpa as he drove so they could see out the front window. We ate at a cute place there in Almo. We only camped there one night and stayed one night in hotel in Tremonton. But so much fun to spend the time with your family. On the way back we stopped at Cabella's of course and took a break from driving. Hope you all get to see City of Rocks one day it was really neat.

We had so much fun at Thanksgiving Point. We had a Dr.'s appointment for William and things turned out just fine. So we went to the dinosaur museum to celebrate. The boys loved it. They had to touch everything. Keeping Colton out of the exhibits. They thought it was great to play in the sand and be able to touch so many things. Colton hasn't stopped talking about it since. In fact every time he says his prayers he prays that he can go again. What a fun trip it ended up being. The boys even enjoyed smashing pennies in the penny smashers. We have quite the collection from our little adventures. Now we are just getting for our next one. We always have one on the horizon. What a blast.
