T-Ball

T-Ball has begun. Colton has been so excited. He played really well. Although he was upset that he couldn't get the ball. But it was much better than last year, so we are definetly making progress. We also celebrated his birthday a week early since we will be on the road all day long on his birthday. It was lots of fun. He loved everything that he got. He really can't wait to go fishing with Trent and Big Pa. He also hasn't let his diesel truck out of his sight. Last night he slept with his scriptures. He is a funny kid. Then we dyed Easter eggs and went on the East egg hunt which was a total success. Why did I buy Easter candy. What was I thinking. We ended up with 3 baskets overflowing, because Colton found a whole basket that was hidden. Leave it to him to find that one. And as tradition dictates in Hatch...yes it did snow this year for Easter. Granted it wasn't the foot of snow like in years past, but the weekend is not over.

YEAH!!! If finally feels like spring!

It has been wonderful this week. Warm and so nice. We did wake up to snow the other day but it melted fast and it's been wonderful. Colton even got a sunburn on his neck. I love it. Although with the nice weather comes the ticks and Yes I did find one on Tana!!! YUCK!!! I hate them. Colton is getting so big. He drew a picture of his Dad in his church clothes last week at church. I loved it so much. He is also counting down the days until his birthday party. We are having one early this year so that he can invite his friends. Then we will celebrate Grandpa HJ's and his together while we are up there. William is just having a blast and getting so big. Jayden has started to climb things. It is so fun, yet scary. He actually has figured out how the gate opens so now it has to stay locked at all times. Don't want another falling down the stairs incident. (Yes he did that, I was in the shower and the gate was not locked...I think you can fill in the blanks). Scott and I have had a busy week. I had class so that was an extra day at work and away from the family. Nice on the paycheck, not nice on the family time. We did manage to squeeze some family game time in though. Spring is great!!!! Love it so much.

How Exciting!!!

This has been a fun week for the boys. It started with several wonderful and nice days in a row where they played outside until they were exhausted. This made Mom very happy. I love when they can go outside and play. They also had a play date at their cousins Trent and Casey's house. They had a picnic and lots of fun. A few days later their long awaited bunk beds came and that has been a hit. In the mean time Jayden discovered the taste of mud and quite liked it. He was not happy that I wasn't going to let him continue to eat it. Which led to an interesting diaper change later. Also their friend Alyssa came to play and Colton decided that they were going to go and dance, she preceeded to remind him that she couldn't do that until she was 16. I was so proud of her. They had lots fun together. Then today William woke up from his nap with not 1 or 2 or 3 shirts on, but yes 4. It was quite funny. He said he was cold. It has been a fun week. Glad it's over, but lots of fun. Yes we had snow and rain, work and chores, but we managed to fit some fun in there.
